In November Haus der Kunst organizes the third edition of Super BOOKS. For two days, artists, designers and alternative publishers show their autonomous productions.
Super BOOKS was first held in 2019 at Haus der Kunst as part of the exhibition “Archives in Residence: AAP Archiv Künstlerpublikationen”, curated by Sabine Brantl. The project fits in the tradition of independent, individual places for artist publications that have developed since the 1960s in the context of the international, post-avant-garde art scene.
Invited by Jürgen O. Olbrich’s NO-INSTITUTE in Kassel, I created DISTANT SUFFERING XXVIII | Syrian skies 3,838 days | October 18, 2022 in an edition of 3 + 1 A.P.: plant&flower press, 24 prints of clouds on 300 grs. Plano Superior.
After the presentation, the work will be included both in the Archive of Haus der Kunst as well as in the Archive Artist Publications, both in Munich.
